How to Get Your Pages Indexed Quickly by Google

Google crawls the web each day via the Googlebot to rank pages and considers criteria such as title tags, alt tags, and meta descriptions. It looks for new pages and new sites to index. Here are some tips about Google page listings, how to check if your site has been listed by Google, and when and how you should submit a sitemap.

1. Is Your Webpage or Website Listed in Google?

There are some simple ways that you can check if your website or a certain web page has been listed in Google.

By checking your website statistics, you can identify pages that have not received any clicks, which can mean that they have not been indexed by Google.

Here are some other ways to check if a site or site pages have been indexed:

●   To see if a particular page is listed in Google, use this command in the Google search field: “Site:domain.com/page.html”

●   To see if a site is listed in Google, use this command in the Google search field: “Site:Sitename.com”

●   To check if any pages in a certain directory are being indexed, use this command: “Site:domain.com/directory”

2. Manually Submitting Your Website or Site Pages to Google

Usually, you would not need to manually submit your pages to Google if you are simply doing minor updates to your site or to a page. This is because Google will most likely index your site in about a day.

But, occasionally, there may be times when you want Google to index your pages more quickly to start generating organic traffic fast. In this case, you can submit an updated sitemap to Google and it will take only about fourteen minutes for the Googlebot to visit your site.

You may want to submit a sitemap in these cases:

●   If you are adding many pages to an existing site or doing a launch of a new website.

●   If you have urgent content that needs to be indexed as soon as possible.

3. How to Submit Your Pages to Google
